Die Bedeutung der Bibel für die Reformation ist unbestritten. Dieser Band erschließt Auslegung und Hermeneutik der Bibel in der Reformationszeit anhand mehrerer Querschnitte. Er geht auf die Wittenberger Reformatoren ein (Luther, Melanchthon), auf die Reformierten (u.a. Bullinger, Calvin, hier wird auch Bucer eingeschlossen), aber auch auf Querverbindungen: zu Erasmus, den Täufern und der christlichen Rezeption jüdischer Bibelauslegung. The significance of the Bible for the Reformation is undisputed. Employing various perspectives, this volume reflects on biblical interpretation and hermeneutics during the time of the Reformation.
